Amira serves as a Partner at Whiteshield, bringing robust analytical and quantitative skills, along with over seven years of consulting and economic development expertise.

Since her inception with the firm, Amira has contributed to projects spanning diverse sectors, including manufacturing, SME policy, labour resilience, innovation policy, and commodity strategies. Her responsibilities encompassed conducting comprehensive economic studies on UAE national indicators, affording her valuable experience in data collection and consolidation techniques, stakeholder mapping, database development, and scenario planning and analysis.

Amira’s role extended to diagnosing the manufacturing sector, evaluating its supporting policy framework and governance structure, and formulating strategies and policies to enhance manufacturing competitiveness. She actively engaged in supporting SMEs in the economies of both the UAE and other countries. Furthermore, Amira’s global research initiatives focused on assessing the drivers of countries’ performance amidst technological disruptions and the evolving landscape of production and work. Amira heads the Abu Dhabi office.
